Qurbani 2016 Update – Thank You for your Sacrifice

This Eid ul-Adha, IKCA was able to feed 16,100 destitute families across Pakistan. Your Qurbani reached the most needy: widows, orphans and the elderly poor; families displaced by conflict or disasters; and flood-affected people trying to re-build their lives in devastated areas.

For Pakistan’s poorest, hunger is a common aspect of daily life. They are forced to get by on so little. It’s no wonder then, that meat is not a part of their regular food intake. But with your support, we were able to alleviate that this Eid.

On behalf of thousands of donors across the UK, US and Pakistan, IKCA performed the sacrifice of 1,147 goats, and cows equivalent to 5,288 shares. We distributed an estimated 80,500 KGs of meat to deprived communities. Your generous donations allowed us to provide for dispossessed people living on the outskirts of Bannu, Peshawar, Multan, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, and Karachi.
