Communities Engagement Officer:

We are looking for an energetic and capable Communities Engagement Officer to further develop IKCA’s community partnerships strategy.  The successful candidate will develop relationships with community organisations at both a local and national level.

About You:

  • You will be a credible, motivated self-starter who is able to take the lead in reaching out to UK communities and Mosques
  • You will be a strong team player with an ability to engage with community organisations of all type and secure meaningful, long-term relationships which raise IKCA’s profile within local communities and help to achieve the charity’s fundraising objectives.
  • You will have a proven track record in developing and implementing strategy to secure successful new relationships and drive growth
  • It would be an advantage, if you are able to speak Urdu or Punjabi language

Your responsibilities include:

  • Engaging communities, community organisations of all types including mosques
  • Support the development of robust base of volunteers and local volunteer hubs
  • Setting up and developing website content and resources to further bolster community and volunteer development
  • Collating news, stories and media content to support wider marketing
  • Contact centres, communities and presenting IKCA to develop relationships
  • Running fundraising initiatives and small events
  • Running Ramadan campaigns and seasonal activities
  • The role will require some travelling, meetings and presentations

Corporate Engagement Executive

  • Location: Option to be home-based with regular attendance at our Bradford office
  • Reports to: UK Manager

We are looking for an energetic and professional candidate to head up our new Corporate Partnerships division, with the key objective to secure new partnerships with local and national businesses. The successful candidate will lead the development of new and existing national partnerships over the next three years and deliver on the ambitious goals set out by the organisation.

About You:

  • You will be a credible, motivated self-starter who is able to take the lead in reaching out to business communities
  • You should have strong communication skills, both verbal and written with an ability to influence others using clear, candid communications
  • You will have a proven track record in developing and implementing strategy to secure successful new relationships and drive growth
  • The successful candidate should ideally be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or have equivalent demonstrable experience with a strong ability to build relationships with CEOs and senior decision makers

You would be responsible for:

  • Develop new networks with corporate entities
  • Plan and implement changes where needed to deliver your goals
  • Over time identify and approach existing networks
  • Prepare presentations and communicate with new entities virtually and in person
  • Be responsible for ongoing improvements to the current corporate engagement process and service
  • Increase/improve retention rate
  • Develop web-related resources to support website engagement for your area
  • Develop resources and assets to support growth and engagement
  • Develop an ongoing route map to successfully grow this division over time
  • You will be experienced in managing and deepening mutually beneficial relationships with corporates, and leading others to deliver on agreed goals
  • Proactively identify and building partnerships with organisations
  • The role will require lots of travelling, meetings and presentations

Video Producer/Project Manager

  • Location: Home-based with occasional visits to Bradford office
  • Reports to: Digital Director

We are seeking an experienced Video Producer to help develop video based content to support our marketing and fundraising objectives.  The successful candidate will produce multiple campaign-specific videos as well as broader content for use across our digital marketing, social media, and website channels.

About You:

The successful applicant will have experience producing video content for different platforms, be proficient in listening to briefs and understanding the needs of the project and offering creative solutions to fulfil the need.

You will also possess a firm grasp of the production process and a proven track record in responding to briefs, client handling, crew booking, producing budgets, call sheets, risk assessments, workflow charts and dealing with the client from concept to completion as well as liaising with the post team and understanding the post production process in order to offer solutions.

You will have good all-round understanding of modern technologies, current practices, and significant experience of the complete process of video/digital content production management including budgeting, scheduling, and monitoring of milestones will ensure the smooth delivery of the projects you are responsible for.

You would be responsible for:

  • Story-boarding, overall narrative and ensure alignment with IKCA values and ideals
  • Overall responsibility to organise bespoke footage, editing, production, final outputs, and all related tasked such as voiceovers, etc.
  • You will use your expertise and passion to produce engaging digital projects and bring ideas to life
  • Creating variations of campaign specific videos, based on campaigns such as: Feed-a-Patient, Sponsorship, Monthly Contributions, Treks and challenges, Volunteers, Corporate, Islamic content, and other seasonal peaks such as Ramadan, Qurbani, and health related narratives.
  • You will produce content for: Google Ad campaigns (YouTube), social media, Landing pages, we will need various versions, lengths and types of video content.
  • You may be required to travel abroad at short notice to oversee production.
