On December 7th 2024, Imran Khan Cancer Appeal invites you to a family fun and fitness walk in one of the greatest cities in the world.
Take a day out to be flaneurs with your family, in London. Take in the sites and scenes of the cultural heart of Europe. Get a bit of exercise and your blood pumping in the run-up to winter. All whilst raising funds for needy cancer patients in Pakistan.

About the Walk
This is roughly a 7-mile route, which will follow a regular pace along the River Thames, as we tick off all the great landmarks of London.
We will be meeting at Victoria Embankment Gardens, and the walk will commence at 10 am.
Hitting all the tourist hot spots, we’ll get to see the London Eye, Big Ben, the Tate Modern, London Bridge, Tower Bridge, Shakespeare’s Globe and get a glimpse of St. Pauls.
Fundraising Target & Fees
There is a registration fee of £15 for every participant (£40 for a family ticket), which gets you a free Imran Khan Cancer Appeal T-Shirt! Our minimum fundraising target of £50, but please do set your own target above this minimum, to support cancer patients at Shaukat Khanum Hospital. The closing date for registration is the 1st of December 2024.
Age Restrictions
The London River Thames Family Walk has no age restrictions, making it the perfect event for any family. Please note however that under 16-year-olds need to be accompanied by an adult.
Clothing and Footwear
It is the participant’s own responsibility to wear footwear and clothing appropriate to the nature of the course and the weather on the day.
