IKCA Wins 2015 WEBAWARD

IKCA is proud to announce that our website won the 2015 WEBAWARD for outstanding achievement in Web Development.

This year, Imran Khan Cancer Appela (IKCA) turned 20. That’s two decades of working to provide free cancer care for destitute patients in Pakistan. To commemorate, we needed to build a stronger presence online. One that would   help us remain connected with our volunteers, and ensure that we’re always able to keep our donors informed about the vital work they are supporting. IKCA’s new website became that strong presence. Through it we can carry on raising awareness of cancer in Pakistan, and raising funds that will help save more lives.

A lot of hard work went into our new website. From the IKCA team to the folks at Hendrix Media; from Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (SKMCH) staff to our friends at Fifteen, we all worked around the clock. The response we’ve had this year has proved every hour of overtime was worth it. Then just when we thought things were going well, it got better.

IKCA’s website won the 2015 WEBAWARD for outstanding achievement in Web Development. But the achievement isn’t ours alone. It belongs to every donor and volunteer, every patient and hospital staff. Thank you for your unending support and inspiration. Thank you for making our vision a reality, and our efforts worthwhile.
