Haris Sohail visits SKMCH

At Imran Khan Cancer Appeal (IKCA), we know that hope and high morale are vital for recovery, and so do our donors and supporters. In that vein, there’s no end to special occasions and celebrity surprise visits at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (SKMCH).

On July 8th, this past Ramadan, our patients were paid a visit by none other than Haris Sohail. The star cricketer met with hospital staff, and spent time at the children’s cancer ward. He spoke with young fans, gave out autographed cricket bats and generally helped to lift the mood.

Impressed by the work we do at SKMCH, Sohail donated his world cup t-shirt to be auctioned at one of SKMCH’s upcoming fundraising events in Pakistan. Inspired by the bravery of our child patients, he promised to come back soon to see them again.
