On Sunday 15th October, Birmingham hosted its first-ever Pink Walk with Imran Khan Cancer Appeal, to raise vital funds and awareness for breast cancer patients.

The walk took place at Birmingham’s iconic Cannon Hill Park and women of all ages and abilities participated. Our supporters from Pak UK Fusion Society played a pivotal role in making this event possible and engaging participants.

The day began with a coffee morning workshop for participants to learn the signs of identifying breast cancer, as well as the importance of talking about it in Pakistani communities to raise awareness. The workshop took place at the Midlands Art Centre situated in the park.

‘The success of the first pink walk has got people looking forward to making this an annual event in Birmingham,’ said Ruby, one of the key organisers from Pak UK Fusion Society.
