On 13 October 2024, we’re marching against breast cancer in Bradford’s Lister Park. Put on your pinks and join us!
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, where we raise awareness of the most common cancer to affect women worldwide. The money you raise on the 5K Pink Walk will provide mammography screenings and free cancer treatments to women facing cancer in Pakistan.
Breast cancer is treatable, which is why we need to get active. We’re taking to the streets (well, park pathways actually) to remind women that self-examinations and regular mammography screenings are vital to beating breast cancer. It’s a great way to meet new, like-minded people, all walking for a worthy cause.Book your place on Eventbrite now

About the Walk
Located a mile from the city centre, Lister Park is home to Cartwright Hall Art Gallery. It has many outstanding features including a lake with boating, inspiring Mughal Water gardens and much more.
We’ve organised this walk to suit every age and fitness level. On the 5K Pink Walk, you get to set your pace, enjoying the fresh air, good company, and light, physical exercise.
Our route will involve multiple laps of the park on tarmac paths. We’ll be using shared paths, so for the continued success of the event, please give way to other park users.
The walk will commence at 10 am, and our meeting point will be Lister Park – postcode: BD9 4NS
