Ramadan Update: The Next Chapter for Karachi

Ever since our founder broke ground in 2016, people from around the world have come together to support Shaukat Khanum Karachi. United in faith, each has played a part in helping us bring comfort and ease to families across southern Pakistan.

This year, that collective effort can help us achieve our greatest milestone: opening Shaukat Khanum in Karachi.

At one million square feet, the facility in Karachi will be twice the size of the facility in Lahore. It will include specialised departments, advanced equipment, and state-of-the-art technology.

Thanks to your generosity, a Walk-in Clinic is already serving local communities.

Expanding Support Closer To Home

Abdul Hadi is from Sindh. He is one of many receiving support at Shaukat Khanum Lahore, hundreds of miles from home. The new facility in Karachi will bring hope closer to families like his.

It will also create jobs for local communities.

Karachi is Pakistan’s largest and most populated city, yet poverty remains widespread. Around 40% of residents live on less than 80 pence a day, and 75% of people in nearby settlements and rural areas face similar hardship.
