Mr Pakistan

People call me Mr Pakistan as you can make it out from my picture. I have supported Imran Khan Cancer Appeal on many occasions but I wanted to do more… I wanted to get other people to donate to this charity. I have been around the world to watch cricket matches and have been on TV numerous times so I thought why not use this publicity to raise funds for the poor cancer victims. I decided to attend Mela’s (fairs) in different cities around UK. My friends Pakman, Taqeed and Abid immediately gave me their support and vowed to attend every mela with me.

We had a fantastic response from the public and not just from the Pakistani people but other nationals too. Through three different Mela’s we managed to raise £3,142.

Imran Khan is truly respected and I am proud to be associated with his charity. Insh-Allah we are thinking of doing the same next year and maybe one day with the help of kind volunteers we will have donation stalls at every mela in the country. So have a good look at my picture because you never know I might bump into you on your next mela.
