Junior Scientists Come to Shaukat Khanum

Future scientists from all across Pakistan gathered at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre on February 28, 2012 for the annual Shaukat Khanum Science Fair, Eureka. Seventy-six projects based on the theme “Sustainable Energy for All” were chosen as finalists and asked to display their projects at the fair. Dr. Arjumand Iqbal Durrani from the University of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Nikhat Khan from Kinnaird College for Women, and Prof. Dr. Sufiyan Aslam from Forman Christian College were the three judges at the event. The top ten projects were recognised at the event. Sarim Rasheed and M. Salman Sadiq from The City School, Islamabad were awarded the top prize.
