Fundraising at Christmas Fair

“On 30th November 2013 John Leggott College hosted a Christmas fair where we, for the first time, setup our stall: ‘WADDA DHABA’, the best selling stall, popular not only amongst Asians but the British. Pakoras – Samosas – Chicken tikka – Chicken curry – Daal puri and what not. Oh and the cupcakes (150 made in 8 hours straight) to wash down the spice!

I don’t know where the idea first stemmed from; perhaps it was in the name ‘Imran Khan’. A big thank you to our professional cooks (none other than our mothers), our college and my colleagues; Haani, Rija and Nahian who helped make the event successful. It was wicked and we are looking forward to going through the whole process again (and again!).”
