DONATE SADAQAH JARIYAH THIS RAMADAN

“When a man dies, his good deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah [ceaseless charity]; a knowledge which [he has passed on and] is beneficial; or a virtuous descendant who prays for him.” (Muslim)

Sadaqah Jariyah is a lasting charity in Islam. It enables Muslims to create ongoing benefits for communities over the long term. According to the Hadith, those who give Sadaqah Jariyah are remembered for their generosity, both now and in the hereafter.

For more than three decades, supporters have given Sadaqah Jariyah towards community-led construction projects in Pakistan. This generosity helped establish Shaukat Khanum Lahore and Peshawar.

This Ramadan, your Sadaqah Jariyah can help us complete a third project in Karachi. The opening is planned for December 2026, Insha’Allah.

We would like to reassure our donors that Shaukat Khanum accounts are operating as normal, with no restrictions in place. Our founder is unable to make an appeal for the completion of Shaukat Khanum Karachi this year. With your Sadaqah Jariyah, we can finish the project and continue helping those who rely on our support across Pakistan.

What Sadaqah Jariyah Can Achieve in Karachi

Families from Karachi often travel long distances to reach existing Shaukat Khanum facilities. With a site closer to home, families like Abdul Hadi’s (featured in the video above) will find it easier to receive help and support where they live.

The project will also create jobs for local communities. Karachi is Pakistan’s largest and most populated city. Yet many still live below the poverty line, especially in nearby settlements and rural areas.

Even a small Sadaqah Jariyah this Ramadan can help us strengthen local opportunities for generations to come.

Give Sadaqah Jariyah in Memory of a Loved One

Sa’d ibn 'Ubadah’s mother had died when he was absent, and he asked the Prophet (ﷺ): “O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died when I was absent. Will it benefit her if I give in charity on her behalf?” The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Yes.” Sa’d said: “I ask you to bear witness that my garden that bears fruit is given in charity on her behalf." (Bukhari)

Our founder, Imran Khan, laid the first bricks of the Lahore facility in memory of his mother. Her passing inspired the vision behind Shaukat Khanum.

Many supporters choose to honour loved ones through Sadaqah Jariyah. A donation made in their name this Ramadan can continue to bring benefit to others for generations to come.
