Sponsor Hospital Equipment

To continue fighting cancer, we need Hospital Equipment, which can help us diagnose, treat and support cancer patients through their battle with cancer. Can you help us?

Did you know that…

Over 1,031 Fluoroscopy procedures are performed in a single year at SKMCH Lahore. That’s 1,031 patients benefitting from a single machine.

On average, SKMCH Peshawar is performing 10 CT scans per day (though this figure is set to increase.) That’s over 3,120 patients a year, receiving a potentially life-saving diagnosis through a single machine.

An MRI machine has a very long lifespan, providing its detector module is replaced every 5 years. It can go on to benefit thousands of patients for many years to come.

Watch the video to find out how every little donated towards Hospital Equipment, will go a long way in our ongoing fight against cancer.

Donate towards Hospital Equipment

Cancer care is costly and providing free cancer treatment is no easy feat. To meet demands we need Hospital Equipment at Shaukat Khanum Hospital (SKMCH) in Lahore and Peshawar.

At Imran Khan Cancer Appeal (IKCA), we believe in providing cancer care for patients, irrespective of whether they can afford it or not. But, free treatment shouldn’t mean poor service. Part of our promise is to ensure our Hospital stays current with medical and technological advances in cancer treatment.

The equipment we need ranges from disposable items used every day to high-end appliances such as MRI machines. Annually we spend £19 million treating cancer patients. Without your support, this would not be possible.

Please help our work by donating towards essential equipment and resources. Every pound spent towards a microscope or MRI machine can mean better chances of recovery due to early diagnosis. Every little bit will go a long way.

Below is a list of items we need your help to purchase.

*Please note there was a small misprint in our Ramadan brochure, the correct prices are listed below.

Shamim Akhtar used to travel for her treatment at Shaukat Khanum Hospital (SKMCH) in Lahore. Things became a lot easier for her when she was referred to our Peshawar hospital once it was up and running. Your support towards equipping Shaukat Khanum Peshawar made this possible.
